Moving to Olympia from Portland has been a bit of a shock to our family. After about 6 months of moving North, we are starting to get used to the slight differences of this smaller town. I've found that although Olympia is very family friendly, finding fun activities, kid-friendly restaurants and cute kid & mommy shops is not easy.
Please enjoy my personal favorites in the area and add comments to share ideas or put me in my place.
I'll try to add reviews of restaurants, activities around town and what to do with kids that need to get out of the house. I may end up adding non-kid stuff like shopping, bars, etc., because we all need some time away, thanks to the help of a great babysitter.

Yay Megan! Picking up the blog torch! Hope you get lots of ideas and tips from commenters. I will be completely unhelpful regarding all things Olympia, but I'll definitely read to keep tabs on the family cuteness.
